Junior audio post engineering

A studio in Johannesburg has a position of JUNIOR AUDIO POST ENGINEERING.

The candidate must perform audio postproduction services and to compose production.

Key performance areas:

To perform all audio postproduction related work in a professional manner and keeping high standard quality.

To final mix, sound design and voice over recording.

Preparing audio sessions, setting up musicinstruments and establish sign routing.

Basic undestanding of Dolby 5.1 and ATMOS

Technical Skills:

To troubleshoot the studio system as and when required.

To initialize routing signals for the recording booth and multiple input/outs of the studio.

Time Reporting:

To report to the project manager by logging accurate time spent working on the project. challenges and get approval from the producer confirming time spent and challenges as and when required.

Requirement:

Diploma in sound engineering.

Minimum of 2-3 years knowledge an experience in audio postproduction and music production.

Minimum of 2-3 years knowledge of AVID PRO TOOLS. Music composition, mixing and mastering will be an added advantage.
