Switchboard Operator & Receptionist

As the Switchboard Operator & receptionist, you are on the frontlines of providing exceptional customer service through knowledgeable and welcoming interactions with customers over the phone.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Main switchboard for all internal companies
- Assists callers by answering the line and connecting the caller to the correct person or department.
- Ensure the smooth running of the switchboard functions, including but not limited to, message taking, message delivery and all switchboard operations.
- Assist with departmental administration.
- Front of house, receiving and assisting customers at reception.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
Requirements:
- Outstanding telephone etiquette skills.
- Excellent written, computer and verbal communication skills.
- Customer / staff focused & Team orientation
- Must have previous switchboard experience.
- Fully bilingual-English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s license
- National senior certificate
- Tertiary education in relevant field advantage
- Competency in Microsoft applications.
- Contactable references.
