Key Responsibilities:- In-Store Customer Service:
- Greet and engage in-store customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Assist customers in selecting products, providing styling advice, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns professionally and efficiently.
- Online Order Management:
- Process online orders promptly and accurately.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring items are carefully handled and packaged.
- Coordinate with shipping partners to ensure timely and reliable order delivery.
- Communicate effectively with online customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Sales and Upselling:
- Promote products, special offers, and loyalty programs to in-store and online customers.
- Suggest complementary items to enhance the shopping experience and maximize sales.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain an attractive and organized store environment, including display setups and window displays.
- Photograph products for online listings, ensuring accurate representation and quality visuals.
- Stock Management:
- Assist in receiving and organizing merchandise shipments, both for the store and online inventory.
- Update online product listings with accurate information, pricing, and availability.
- Monitor in-store and online inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Cash Handling and Online Transactions:
- Process in-store customer transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Assist online customers with payment and checkout issues as needed.
- Store Operations:
- Keep the store and storage areas clean, tidy, and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store and online sales goals.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and learning initiatives.
- Online Customer Engagement:
- Respond to online customer inquiries and messages promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the boutique's online presence and customer interactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant education in fashion or retail is a plus).
- Previous retail or customer service experience, including online order management, is preferred.
- Passion for fashion and a keen sense of style.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and online.
- Comfortable with technology, including point-of-sale systems and online platforms.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be prepared to work weekends, commute to &/or live in Franschhoek Western Cape, South Africa.
