The persons primary role would be to provide finance and trading support, training and testing for the K8 and Syspro ERP systems.
The key tasks & responsibilities for this position are to: Receiving advanced training in key Business Analysis techniques, behaviours and disciplines.
Identifying, gathering and validating trading, finance and accounting related business, functional, user (stakeholder), quality-of-service (non-functional), and implementation (transition) requirements and report specifications.Developing Use Cases and other artefacts (tools) required to articulate business requirements.
Prepare plans for the work to be completed and agree these with the Manager and/or team.
Receive authorisation from the Manager to create deliverables (Work Package).
Operate in a team environment.
Identify and advise the Manager and team of any risks associated with the Work Package.
Ensure that risks are entered on the Risk Log.
Manage specific risks as directed by the Manager and/or team.
Take responsibility for the progress of the Work Package.
Where required, take responsibility for the progress of a teams work and the use of team resources. This may include implementing corrective action within the constraints and tolerances laid down by the Manager.
Ensure all Project Issues are properly reported to the person maintaining the Issue Log.
Ensure the evaluation of Issues that arise within the teams work and recommend action to the Manager and/or team.
Liaise with Project Assurance and/or internal audit roles.
Attend any project, system or business assessments as directed by the Manager.
Attend, arrange and/or lead team checkpoints as required by the Manager.
Ensure that quality controls of the teams work are planned and performed correctly.
Maintain and ensure the maintenance of team files.
Maintaining traceability between requirements and ERP implementation
Support the development of finance related training and implementation material
Prepare training schedules
Administration of Training Evaluation Forms and Attendance Registers
Assist with Trading and Finance related calls logged with the Helpdesk
Provide remote and on-site support to K8 and Syspro users
Document relevant finance related issues, including replication details, where possible.
Manage the progress of all calls logged with the Software Providers
Facilitate trading and finance training to new and existing K8 users
Assist with QA and modification testing
Assist with software and upgrade testing
Assist and facilitate User Acceptance Testing
The key educational requirements and qualifications for this position would be: A valid Grade 12 certificate is essential
Information System related Degree/DiplomaVerifiable familiarity with computer-based systems
Familiarity with the various functions associated with retail, wholesale and manufacturing environments would be considered an advantage
Advanced level of computer literacy
Proven and demonstrated experience in the area of financial and trading business analysis
At least 1 year Financial Information System experience essential
Be able to travel to branches
