The role involves creating, pricing, and arranging trips to southern Africa for travelers through international agents.

• Evaluate client requirements regarding interests, needs, and budget
• Provide timely quotes for all requested services
• Make reservations for all client services
• Respond to written inquiries and send written confirmations
• Input reservations into Tourplan
• Confirm services with suppliers
• Maintain regular communication with agents on reservation status, payment terms, deadlines, and reservation conditions
• Organize Meet and Greets when necessary
• Stay in touch with tour guides during tours
• Handle client complaints and emergencies
• Keep in contact with agents

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Preferably a qualification in Travel & Tourism
• 4 years of experience in FIT-Tailor Making Tour consulting in the tour operating industry
• Familiarity with Tourplan is advantageous

• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Understanding of customer needs and products
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers for availability and rates
• Strong knowledge of the tourism industry
• Excellent knowledge of South African geography
• Proficiency in Touring Logistics
