Area Sales Manager

This position requires frequent travel within the region to engage with key clients and partners.

Key Duties:

• Promote and sell company brands, products, and services in assigned territories, either directly or through local agents and distributors
• Build and maintain strong communication with customers to generate leads and identify business opportunities
• Conduct on-site meetings to understand client needs, finalize designs, secure orders, and address any concerns
• Coordinate with Service Operations to provide customer support, including equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and repair
• Collaborate with Field Service Technicians to schedule site visits, plant audits, and equipment assessments
• Strengthen relationships with customers and EPCs, focusing on long-term business growth

Requirements:

• Engineering degree (Mechanical) or equivalent experience
• At least 15 years in a commercial role within the African Mining sector
• Experience in industrial equipment sales highly preferred
• Proven track record in sales and business development
• Background in oil & gas, chemical, or industrial markets advantageous
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and Power BI
