Overview

Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join the medical team at a well-respected healthcare facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes in patient conditions to the Registered Nurse.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and provide support during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with facility policies.
• Work collaboratively with the medical team to promote a safe and supportive environment.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families as needed.
• Participate in patient discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions to home or other care settings.

Requirements:

• Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.
• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a medical or general nursing unit is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical nursing practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
