Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Process
• Project management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Minimum 6 years work experience
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed within SA and globally
• Customer relationship management
• Track record of successful project and client management
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Project planning: develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets and resource allocation, in collaboration with the project team.
• Project execution: lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, subcontractors, to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
• EPCM expertise: apply your deep understanding of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management principles to optimize project delivery and cost control.
• Mineral processing focus: leverage your experience in mineral processing to provide technical guidance and solutions throughout project development, ensuring optimal processing efficiency and pr0duct quality.
• Sales and key account management: collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and engage with key clients. Maintain and nurture relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Problem solving: work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide innovative engineering solutions that align with their business objectives
• Budget management: monitor project budgets, control costs and implement strategies to mitigate risks and keep projects financially viable.
• Risk assessment: Identify potential project risks, develop risk mitigation plans, and take proactive steps to minimize project disruptions.
• Regulatory compliance: ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry regulations, environmental standards and safety protocols.
• Stakeholder communication: maintain clear and effective communication with clients, team members and stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
• Quality assurance: implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards.
