Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- A tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Marketing or a related field will be an advantage.
- 2 3 years experience in a similar sales role within the hospitality industry at a 4-5* Property.
- Valid drivers licence and Own vehicle.
- The ability to work independently. Attend weekly Teams meeting, and bi-weekly meetings in Polokwane
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation Skills.
- Attentive to customer needs and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of market trends and social media platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implement effective sales strategies to maximize Hotel occupancy and revenue.
- Create promotional material and marketing campaigns to attract suited clientele.
- Research new markets and business opportunities to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Represent Hotels in various exhibition events, trade shows, and networking events.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of potential and existing clients.
- Prepare sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the Hotel.
- Review the customer service quality of the Hotel to ensure customers are tended to properly and resolve customer complaints.
- Create and maintain customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service and building sustainable relationships with clients
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers to enable future bookings.
- Set annual sales budgets, reports and forecast.
- Implement effective strategies for achieving sales targets. Conduct assessment of sales performance and implement improvements to sales processes and strategies.
- Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
