Workshop Reception Desk

Our client in Cape Town is looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join their team as a Workshop Reception Desk Assistant. This position requires a combination of administrative tasks and hands-on work in the workshop. The ideal candidate should have a technical background and be willing to assist with carrying and moving pumps and motors while handling reception duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist with their inquiries at the reception desk.
• Provide support in the workshop by carrying, moving, and positioning pumps and motors.
• Perform administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and general office management.
• Maintain organization of both the workshop and reception areas.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating deliveries and installations.
• Handle stock control and inventory tasks as required.
• Ensure that safety standards are maintained in the workshop and reception areas.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent both in Afrikaans and English
• Preferably a technical background in pumps, motors, or related fields.
• Physically fit and able to assist with moving and handling equipment.
• Strong administrative skills with experience in office tasks.
• Proficient in computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
