Hotel and Lodge Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and overall market share for the hotel.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event planners.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that enhance the hotel's visibility in the market.
- Handle client inquiries, provide property tours, and prepare customized proposals to meet their needs and budget.
- Organize and coordinate events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all aspects are executed to the clients satisfaction.
- Manage event logistics, including room bookings, catering, AV equipment, and special requests, while maintaining effective communication with internal departments.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports, tracking performance against targets and providing insights for improvement.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and industry standards to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in hotel sales, event coordination, or a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably within a 4 or 5-star property.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering high-quality client service.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the Polokwane and Limpopo market is advantageous.
