Debtors Clerk / Litigation Secretary

One of our Top Finance Clients are looking to appoint a detail-oriented and proactive Debtors Clerk / Litigation Secretary to manage their debt collection processes and legal documentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sending out statements, collecting overdue funds, issuing amortization schedules, and meeting with clients in arrears.

Additionally, they will support litigation processes related to outstanding debts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in debt collection, legal administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of South African debt collection laws and legal procedures.
  • Experience in the finance, banking, or asset recovery industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality.
  • A legal background or paralegal/litigation secretary qualification.
