Our client in Bloemfontein is recruiting for a professional, kind and welcoming Medical Receptionist to join their esteemed specialist medical practice.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• 3 years working experience in a practice
• Previous experience with billing at a medical practice
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Computer literate: MedEDI, VeriClaim, other medical programs (advantage)
• Experience in Practice Management (advantage)
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Duties will include:

• Receiving patients and switchboard
• Scheduling patient appointments and make adjustments when needed
• Opening of patient files
• Obtain authorisation from medical schemes
• Receiving payments (card or cash etc) and issuing receipts
• Billing

Skills required:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
• Professional
• Presentable
• Organised
• Good telephone etiquette
