Internal Sales Representative

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) required; relevant diploma or degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Administration is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of internal sales experience, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of steel products, grades, and applications.
• Computer knowledge (MS Office, D365 Advantageous)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist in stock control by monitoring inventory levels and product availability. Ability to source stock & nonstock items from various suppliers.
• Coordinate deliveries to meet customers requirements.
• Experience in internal sales, steel industry
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Provide quotations and follow up on inquiries.
• Manage customer accounts, including order tracking and resolving issues.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
