Sales Representative

Our client based in the Centurion area is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience with strengthening existing and establishing new customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Clear criminal and ITC credit record
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a sales and marketing environment, industrial exposure preferred
• Post graduate qualification/diploma, degree/ or similar is preferred
• Proficient in new Microsoft 365 applications. Skilled in MS Sharepoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe pdf etc.
• Strong general computer literacy. Ability to navigate new systems, reports, and detailed excel data on both a laptop and smartphone.
• Valid driver's license with ability and willingness to travel to all customers within the greater inland region.
• Effective networking expertise & excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service track record.
• Unwavering stance on ethics.
• Ability to work in a team and contribute towards a positive working environment with colleagues.
• The successful candidate should be self-motivated show a strong work ethic.
• Display flexibility & effectively manage change
• Appetite to continuously identify new opportunities and grow sales.
• Be able to represent the brand in line with our brand values - quality, leadership and enthusiasm.
• Dress presentably and communicate professionally.
• Be able to build customer relationships on trust, service, energy and professionalism.
• Be able to sell on value over price. Market, sell and promote a high-end, value-added product in a price-driven market.

• Can proactively draft sales, generating strategies based on market and customer requirements
• Have the ability to manage / develop / grow your distribution network in line with our overall growth strategy.
• Strong selling skills and sound sales experience and track record.
