Assistant Production Manager - Corporate Fashion - Cape Town

Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Production Manager, you will:

• Support the Head of Production in planning and managing daily schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor production processes and work closely with the team to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Uphold Image Makers' high-quality standards, ensuring all products meet specifications and safety regulations.
• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Troubleshoot production issues quickly and effectively, implementing innovative solutions.
• Assist in compiling production reports and analyzing performance metrics to enhance future outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• 3+ years of proven experience in clothing manufacturing, preferably in a factory manager role.
• Expertise in softwear such as shirts, blouses, suits, dresses, skirts, and pants.
• Knowledge of jackets and coats is a plus.
• A strong understanding of garment production processes and quality control practices.
• Proficiency in production management software or excellent computer skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Afrikaans or Xhosa is advantageous.
• Certifications in production management will be considered an advantage.
