Our client is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Renewable Energy Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. Your key responsibility will be collaborating with internal teams and clients to design and deliver optimized technical solutions tailored to the needs of each project.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to create optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects.
Prepare preliminary technical designs, cost estimates, and write proposals.
Support clients in contract negotiations.
Drive sales growth by developing relationships with both new and existing accounts in designated regions to meet business objectives.
Formulate competitive strategies to achieve sales targets while staying informed on competitor activities.
Contribute to business planning efforts to ensure long-term sales sustainability.
5 years of technical sales experience in renewable energy or a related industry.
Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, battery energy storage, diesel generators, and electrical reticulation.
Proven ability to collaborate with customers and partners to address technical inquiries and provide solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure.
Knowledge of project management is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions, with a focus on medium to large Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to create optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects.
Prepare preliminary technical designs, cost estimates, and write proposals.
Support clients in contract negotiations.
Drive sales growth by developing relationships with both new and existing accounts in designated regions to meet business objectives.
Formulate competitive strategies to achieve sales targets while staying informed on competitor activities.
Contribute to business planning efforts to ensure long-term sales sustainability.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers in the renewable energy sector.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering required.5 years of technical sales experience in renewable energy or a related industry.
Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, battery energy storage, diesel generators, and electrical reticulation.
Proven ability to collaborate with customers and partners to address technical inquiries and provide solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure.
Knowledge of project management is a plus.
Experience with large-scale solar installations is advantageous.
