Product Marketing Lead

The Product Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively communicate the value of the company's products to target audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive product marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Define product positioning, messaging and value propositions that differentiate products in the market.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse market data and customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating cross-functional teams, creating marketing collateral, and managing promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyse launch performance to optimise future product introductions.
  • Oversee the creation of product-related content, including brochures, white papers, case studies, and website copy.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Work closely with product management, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and customer messaging.
  • Provide sales enablement materials and training to support the sales team in effectively communicating product benefits.
  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reporting on key metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field will be beneficial.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the technology or software industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, PPC, and social media marketing will be beneficial.
