Mechanical Engineer - Airframe Systems (Jnr)

Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Matric average: 85% and above - NON NEGOTIABLE
• Experience:
• Junior Level: 1-2 years of experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering with foundational CAD skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor), with experience in FEA tools.

Beneficial requirements:

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of structural analysis and materials science preferred.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to solve complex engineering challenges, with senior engineers demonstrating a high level of autonomy.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset; senior engineers should demonstrate leadership capabilities.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical solutions for airframe components, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
• Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models, performing FEA analyses to verify structural integrity.
• Assist with prototyping and testing, analyzing results to refine and improve designs.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless integration of airframe systems into larger projects.
