Information Technology Sales Manager
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of information technology and digital automation, helping clients navigate the ever-changing landscape of technology through our offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business development and client relationship management:
Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities.
Build a robust sales pipeline and actively manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Develop go-to-market strategies to effectively position the company offering to prospects and potential clients.
Understand clients’ business goals and technical requirements to offer tailored solutions.
Collaborate with Portfolio Leads and Solution Owners to provide the best offering and solution for new clients and to secure new business.
Develop, maintain, and grow our client base and forge new client relationships, focusing on key accounts in sectors such as telecoms, energy, mining, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new high-value clients, delivering strategic support and ensuring long-term partnerships.
Conduct regular business reviews with new accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.- Market and Product Knowledge:
Stay up to date with industry trends, especially in areas such as Digital automation and artificial intelligence solutions, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, software development, Quality Assurance and infrastructure services.
Analyze competitor offerings and market changes to refine sales tactics and company offerings.
Identify and propose innovative IT and software solutions aligned with market trends and client requirements.- Collaboration and Strategy:
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical consulting, product development, and marketing, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
Participate in the development of pricing strategies, sales forecasts and budgets.
Contribute to proposals, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure client expectations are clearly defined and met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:
5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the IT industry.
Demonstrated ability to sell Software Solutions, Technology and Advisory services (SAP, Salesforce and ServiceNow would be advantegous).- Sales and Negotiation Skills:
Strong sales acumen, with a proven track record of closing deals in a consultative sales environment.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.- Technical Knowledge:
Good understanding of trending software products and IT services.
Ability to translate technical features into client-focused value propositions.- Relationship Management:
Experience managing and growing long-term client relationships.
Skilled in managing multiple high-value accounts simultaneously.- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage C-level executives.
Ability to convey technical concepts in layman's terms when necessary.- Proactive and Results-Driven:
Self-motivated and able to work independently with a focus on achieving sales targets.
