Job Description:
Advise senior leadership on financial performance and decision-making
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and statutory requirements
Ensure all tax filings, audits, and financial regulations are adhered to and up-to-date
Monitor and manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and working capital
Analyze key financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth
Provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decisions, cost control initiatives, and investment strategies
Lead financial performance reviews and operational performance metrics
Manage the financial aspects of the manufacturing process, including production costs, inventory management, and cost control
Work closely with production teams to improve financial efficiency and profitability
Evaluate capital expenditure projects, assessing the financial feasibility of new equipment, facilities, or expansions
Lead and mentor the finance department, fostering a high-performance culture
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of financial staff
Ensure the finance team is effectively structured and equipped to meet organizational needs
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the companys assets and mitigate financial risks
Identify and manage financial and operational risks, ensuring the company is prepared for potential challenges
Communicate financial results, forecasts, and strategies to senior management and external stakeholders (e.g., investors, auditors, banks)
Participate in board meetings and provide financial insights to support decision-making
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance operational efficiency
Ensure cost-effective operations while maximizing profitability across the business
Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial software and systems to improve reporting and data accuracy
As the Financial Director, your duties and responsibilities could include the following: Develop and execute the companys financial strategy in alignment with business objectives
