AESTHETIC-SPA THERAPIST (Confident in Advanced Skin Care & Body therapies)

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Friday 09:00 - 19:00 (open/close shift)
• Saturday 09:00 - 17:00
• Sunday CLOSED - may change based on seasonal or operational requirements

REPORTS TO: Manager / Owner

• R10,000 Basic per month
• Service Commission
• Retail Commission
• Incentives
• Tips / Gratuities
• Excellent earning potential

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
2. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
3. BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
4. Based in or within reasonable travel distance to the V&A Waterfront
5. Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of an Aesthetic/Spa Professional
6. Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
7. Confident retailer - ability to prescribe home care confidently

EXPERIENCE:

1. Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable
2. high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
3. Experience working with active ingredients

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident and skilled in all standard SPA, BEAUTY & SKIN CARE services
2. Confident working on male and female clients
3. Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
4. Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments
5. Skin penetrating treatments including micro needling / nano needling / Derma Pen / Skin Pen / CIT
6. Light-based therapies experience (LASER / IPL / LED)
7. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
8. Retail confident
9. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
10. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
11. Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
12. Assist Aesthetic Doctor where operationally required
