Marketing and National Relationship Manager - Live Entertainment
Our client, in the entertainment industry is seeking a Marketing and National Relationship Manager, who is dynamic, outgoing and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to join their team.
The purpose of the role is to introduce the entertainment venue to diverse audiences to expose the corporate market to the venue and create business-to-business marketing incentives for functions and events
This position will suit an individual who has a strong interest in entertainment and thrives in a fast-paced environment, is happy to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings, and to attend Arts Festivals and Industry Gatherings.
Location: Port Elizabeth/ GqeberthaJob type: Remote - with frequent visits to the venue and industry events. /
Duties and Responsibilities- Research and identify artists, shows, and venues across South Africa.
- Build and maintain industry connections with artists, managers, venues, and producers
- Manage and optimize social media presence
- Coordinate promotional activities for each show
- Conduct audience analysis and demographic research
- Compile and manage databases of artists, venues, and industry contacts
- Identify potential venues for tours and partnerships
- Explore acts currently touring South Africa
- Develop engaging content using video, photography, and artist interviews
- Valid Drivers Licence and own vehicle
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, talent scouting, or a field which demonstrates application of these skills
- Strong social media management and content creation abilities
- Proficiency in online research techniques
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
- Ability to analyze trends and data in the entertainment landscape
- Competent in common office software
- Creative thinker with innovative marketing ideas
- Self-Motivation and Initiative essential
- Ability to work independently and proactively seek out new opportunities
