Head of Department - Logistics required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Brits , Gauteng

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics Management
• Matric (Gr. 12)
• Min 5 years Automotive experience within Logistics senior position
• Material requirement planning
• Syspro and Translution experience will be an advantage
• JIS and JIT supply experience
• Automotive quality systems & audits
• Logistics legal requirements [SARS, Rebate]

Responsibilities:

• Oversee material planning activities.
• Inform & monitor production to maintain correct levels of finished goods.
• Management of logistical projects and cost reduction programs.
• Monitor critical task within the department.
• Manage bi-annual stock take and coordinate with auditors.
• Monthly reporting internally and to the company
• Manage Outbound logistics.
• Drive Production Systems within Logistics.
• Manage all Logistics vehicles.
• Schedule training as per the approved training investment plan.
• Implementation of projects withing the logistics department.
• Ensure you and your subordinates achieve the agreed Targets and Objectives.
• MMOG Plant Lead.
• Maintain Logistics processes as per audit requirements [IATF/ISO].
