About the role

Software development intern provides support and troubleshooting of legacy technology solutions as well as scripting, test automation, and test tools.

• Developing & debugging test tools
• Learn and use various software development tools for IT
• Working knowledge of telecommunications products will help.
• Implement entire stories or subset of tasks or fix defects as part of an agile development team
• Help maintain debug and monitor warehousing platforms and improve scalability
• Help maintain debug and monitor wholesale platform to help usability and functionality
• Help Improve automation in the company between various tasks to improve efficiency
• Learn critical functional areas in HMH ISG product lines
• Edit, modify, and debug software products in accordance with software architecture specifications and internal procedures

• Qualification in IT.
• Strong Written and Verbal skills to communicate with clarity and. brevity to other professionals, including software developers, and programs. managers, product managers, and business analysts.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Sound problem-solving abilities.
• Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
• South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
