Minimum requirements (Qualifications and Experience)Degree in management information systems, finance, econometrics, statistics, or similar.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis (40%)Extracting of data from a SQL server relational database.
Advance SQL querying and reporting.
Manipulation and interpretation data from a SQL server relational database.
Conducting and supporting peer reviews to ensure data is fit for purpose with regards to the development
of Proof of Concepts, dashboards, and reports.
Acquiring and processing data from multiple sources and systems using SQL and data visualization toolsInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
Locate and define new data process improvement opportunities.
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
Administration (10%)Ensuring that data flows through the various processes correctly
Recording and reporting on volumes of data flowing through the various data processes
Documenting existing data processes
Controlling and managing data documentation and reports generated
Client System and Integration Support (10%)Support in system integration and data mappings for new client take-on
Act as business analyst for data requirements and management between clients and IT
Provide support on data queries relating to integration.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Respond to inquiries and requests for information from stakeholders in a timely manner.
Support interfaces with external clients’ systems such as CAS, Vision, FutureSoft, Tallyman etc.
Reporting (40%)Build reporting, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality to
support the business.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Developing and testing data models to capture client’s KPIs and data transformations.
Working closely with IT, internal stakeholders, and SMEs to interpret data requirements, identify
solutions in relation to data management, and recommend technical solutions on data elements to
support business decisions.
Assisting with the establishment and ongoing review and refinement of the data governance policy(s)
and/or management such as data ownership, master data management and metadata management
Generating management information reports as and when required
Interpreting the validity and integrity of reports produced before distribution
Submitting code on a regular basis to produce predefined extracts and reports
Recommending improvements regarding code where possible in order to improve the process
Prepare and produce ad-hoc reports as and when required
