Johannesburg - Compliance Officer

• Monitor and assess compliance with internal policies, laws, and regulations relevant to our industry.
• Implement, review, and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they remain effective.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
• Provide training and resources to staff on compliance topics and best practices.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure ongoing compliance and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards, advising the team accordingly.

• Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (such as CCEP or CRCM) are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
