Accounting Clerk - Johannesburg

As our Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations by maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and assisting with various accounting tasks. • Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end close activities.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
