Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all key tasks and milestones are identified and tracked
• Collaborate with project team members to gather necessary information for project planning
• Conduct regular project progress reviews and provide updates to stakeholders
• Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and develop mitigation plans
• Prepare reports and presentations on project status, progress, and forecasting
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met within scope, budget, and schedule

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Planner or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning within the mining industry

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of mining project lifecycle and processes
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions:

The role is office-based with occasional visits to project sites. May require working outside of standard hours to meet project deadlines. Travel may be required.
