Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven Finance Graduate with completed SAICA articles for our client’s finance department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking fintech company and further develop your finance career in a fast-paced, tech-driven industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.Tax Compliance: Manage tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax filings, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to guide decision-making.
Internal Controls & Audit: Assist with audits and help maintain internal financial controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Monitor and report on cash flow, assisting with banking relationships and ensuring optimal liquidity.
Financial Systems & Process Optimization: Collaborate with finance and IT teams to enhance financial systems, improving reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with special finance projects as required, contributing to strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: A BCom Accounting, Financial Management, or related degree.SAICA Articles: Completion of SAICA articles (required).
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Xero, QuickBooks).
Strong understanding of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Experience: Some post-article experience or internships in a finance role is advantageous but not essential.
