Driver

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Safe Operation of Vehicles: Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all transportation laws and maintaining a clean driving record.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Loading and Delivering Equipment: Load, secure, and deliver equipment to various customer locations.
• Installation and Setup: Install and set up equipment at customer sites, ensuring everything is functioning properly.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including basic training on copiers, printers, and other office technology equipment.
• Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Coordination: Assist in organizing transportation schedules and coordinating with logistics teams.

Skills and Competencies:

• Safe Driving: Proficiency in defensive driving techniques and adherence to traffic laws.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including performing routine checks and minor repairs.
• Navigation Skills: Expertise in using GPS and navigation systems to plan efficient routes.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills to interact with customers and provide assistance.
• Load Securing: Ability to properly secure and handle equipment during transport.
• Time Management: Efficiently managing time to ensure timely deliveries and installations.
• Problem-Solving: Quickly addressing and resolving issues that may arise during deliveries or installations.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to handle unexpected situations, such as traffic delays or equipment malfunctions.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate record-keeping and precise execution of tasks.
• Physical Fitness: Being physically capable of handling equipment and performing installation tasks.

Qualifications:

• Valid Code 10 Drivers License and Valid PDP
• 3-to-5-year experience
• Matric certificate or Equivalent
• Computer literacy with A+ and N+ will be advantageous
