Supervisor - Di Ammonia Plant - Johannesburg

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of plant operators to ensure smooth operation of the Di Ammonia Plant.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor plant operators to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Prepare reports on plant performance, production output, and any incidents or deviations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a chemical manufacturing plant,preferably with experience in Di Ammonia production.
• Strong knowledge of Di Ammonia production processes and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to chemical manufacturing
