Automotive Client Account Senior Manager
This is the role of an Automotive Client Account Senior Manager within the Products Client Group at Accenture. The role demands a strategic, client-focused mindset, built on a foundation of trusted industry relationships upon which you will develop and grow Accenture’s business.
The Automotive Client Account Senior Manager is able to develop, nurture and harvest relationships at the C-Suite level within the Automotive and adjacent industrials, energy and retail environments that link to the Automotive value chain.
The role demands deep insights into the supply chains of the Automotive sectors, the dealer networks, retail footprints, the OEM plants and the international trade agreements and regulatory frameworks.
With the Automotive sector currently undergoing a significant transformational shift towards New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), an understanding of the strategic impact of this disruption and the opportunities for Automotive companies to thrive amidst this change is crucial to the success of this role.
The Automotive Client Account Senior Manager will be expected to work closely with the Automotive Sector Lead, as well as the broader team of Accenture Service Group Leads (Strategy & Consulting, Song, Operations, Technology and Industry X) to shape solutions, and move deals through to closure with strategic clients.Additionally, it will be expected that the Automotive Client Account Senior Manager reaches and maintains chargeability levels across sold projects.
Responsibilities
Grow the business:
- Contribute to expanding Accenture's footprint and share of wallet within the target Automotive clients base and industries; accountable for a portion of business results for the Automotive Account cluster (at a minimum);
- Bring disruptive and innovative ideas in order to originate new opportunities at target clients, from large-scale, multi-year, multi-team transformational deals to smaller, short-term consulting-led projects and annuity-driven operations deals;
- Leverage industry networks and partner with experienced CALs to understand the overall growth of the industry at Accenture and build industry mastery;
- Generate unique thought-leadership and insights to position yourself and Accenture as a recognised and relevant advisory partner towards the Automotive industry players.
Develop client relationships:
- Use Accenture's Leadership Essentials to guide all client interactions.
- Proactively identify and connect with client peers to identify and develop relationships with the next generation of client leaders, leveraging your existing industry relationships;
- Through subject matter expertise within the Automotive sector, proactively grow relationships with client management primarily through client expectations management during delivery;
- Develop strong communication skills to guide client challenges with relevance and credibility.
Engage and develop high performance teams and leaders:
- Build, maintain & grow relationships across Accenture’s client-facing Groups and Service Groups to identify aspiring Account Managers amongst their peers;
- Develop knowledge of ecosystem partners relevant to the Automotive sector to collaborate and bring new, innovative ideas to our clients;
- Able to articulate vision and purpose for the client team in your given space to attract and develop diverse talent;
- Fostering a entrepreneurial mindset by actively articulating ideas with your leadership and client teams to solve challenges with creativity and positivity;
- Develop the ability delegate efficiently and adapt to ongoing feedback.
