Part-Time Sales Assistant

Location: V&A Waterfront, High-End Fashion Boutique

This role is key in representing the store’s unique offering, providing exceptional service to a discerning clientele, and contributing to the success of the store.

The Part-Time Sales Assistant will act as the face of the brand, ensuring a memorable and elevated customer experience at every interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Brand Representation: Serve as the visible and approachable face of the brand, maintaining an energetic and positive attitude.
• Client Interaction: Greet clients with enthusiasm and create a lasting positive first impression. Guide them through the entire buying journey with exceptional service.
• Sales Support: Offer product knowledge, including style recommendations, product characteristics, and current trends, to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
• Customer Engagement: Contribute to sales by proactively engaging clients, suggesting complementary products, and building lasting relationships.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure clients are delighted with their experience, thanking them for their visit and inviting them back to the store.
• Multi-Channel Support: Assist customers across all sales channels, including in-store and e-commerce.
• Store Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store at all times to align with brand standards.
• Collaboration: Support store management with daily tasks and participate in store-related functions and team events.

• Matric (Grade 12) Certification.
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in using emails, Excel, and other basic computer software.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in a boutique or high-end fashion retail store.
• Education: Further education or certification in Marketing and Sales is advantageous.
• Passion: A strong passion for the boutique retail industry, particularly high-end fashion.
• Languages: Ability to speak multiple languages is advantageous.
• Retail Hours: Willing and available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, at the V&A Waterfront.
