Short-Term Insurance Broker (Salaried)

As a Short-Term Insurance Broker specializing in new business development, you will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet a minimum monthly target of R3,500.00 in new business commissions, which typically requires securing around 10 policies each month (with each policy yielding R350.00 in commission).
• Identify client needs and offer insurance coverage tailored to their specific requirements, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Obtain accurate quotations from a range of reputable insurance providers, including but not limited to Old Mutual, Santam, Discovery, PPS, Rodel, Echelon, Auto & General, Momentum, CIB, CCIRC, King Price, IUM, and Rodel.
• Conduct face-to-face discussions with clients to review and explain insurance quotations, ensuring clients understand their options and the benefits of various policies.
• Offer clients accurate and comprehensive advice regarding their insurance needs, helping them make informed decisions about their coverage.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets. Proactively follow up on leads and build lasting relationships with clients.
• Note that cold calling and lead sourcing are not part of the broker's daily responsibilities; leads are provided through inbound call center agents and liaisons with the life, tax, and billing departments

Requirements:

• Matriculation certificate.
• RE5 certification (Compulsory)
• Relevant NQF level 4 or 5 qualification with a minimum of 120 credits.
• Class of business certificates for both personal and commercial lines.
• Proven experience in handling both personal and commercial lines.
• Own vehicle and valid drivers license.

Remuneration: R20 000 - R22 000 CTC + monthly Commission
