Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• 3+ years in a similar position.
• Beneficial: Tertiary Qualification.
• Essential: Own Vehicle and valid Drivers License.
• Previous working experience with:
• MS SQL
• T-SQL
• Power BI
• SSRS Reports and Dashboards

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI Reports and Dashboards, ensuring successful implementations with accurate data and well-documented change requests.
• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS Reports and Dashboards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with documentation standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Views, ensuring data accuracy and thorough documentation for all change requests.

• Optimise databases and queries to minimize waiting times, ensuring peak performance and DBA downtime trends are minimized.
• Ensure BI/SSRS System performance through database optimisation and system monitoring.
• Investigate and report on database incidents, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining peak performance.
• Schedule and maintain database jobs, ensuring timely execution of scheduled tasks.

• Design, develop, and maintain schematic models with accurate, well-documented data optimized for speed.
• Design, develop, and maintain views to support data accuracy, speed, and comprehensive documentation.
• Develop and maintain a Lakehouse system, ensuring optimized data processing with accurate documentation.

• Adhere to best security practices, ensuring zero security incidents.
• Assist the IT Manager in identifying and mitigating security risks, including alerting management of antivirus or other security issues on local computers.

• Assist in ERP investigations by providing quick and effective support.
• Support ERP system updates, ensuring all updates are successful and thoroughly tested.
• Provide speedy resolution to support queries, with a turnaround time of 1 day (resolved or responded).
• Offer after-hours database support as reasonably required, ensuring continuity of operations.
