Technical sales representative

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably in the agriculture or meteorology sector.
• A science or agricultural qualification, with credits preferably in Meteorology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skill
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A valid Code 08 driver's license and driving experience.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Develop and implement a personal sales strategy in line with the regional and national sales strategy to increase the current client base for all services in the region.
• Identify potential new business in existing and new markets and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including troubleshooting, training, and consultation.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the sales team, as well as other departments, to achieve company goals.
• Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate new leads. Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
