Job Purpose:

• The purpose of the job is to produce technical deliverables on of large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Specific focus on civil Infrastructure design using Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D is a requirement.
• To carry out the planning, design, site supervision and construction monitoring for both internal and external civil municipal infrastructure (water, and sewer, roads and stormwater including stormwater management plan) for existing and new developments for both Private and Public Sector Clients. Compilation of Tender Documentation including Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Bills of Quantities and Tender Drawings.

Requirements:

• Applicable bachelor's for BTech degree.
• Registration with ECSA as a PR Eng.
• 5 or more years' experience with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience a pre-requisite.

Key Performance Areas:

• Design & documentation of municipal services
• Can work independently on project technical deliverables
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Experience with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTO
• Good communication and people skills
• Preparation of reports and presentations
• Competent with Civil Designer, Civil3D and AutoCAD
• Plan, organize and control specific technical tasks
• Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System
• Keep abreast of Technical best practice
