Role Overview
This internship is ideal for a driven, communicative, and organised individual who is eager to begin their career in internal sales and customer service within a technical environment. The intern will support the internal sales and external sales teams by managing quote follow-ups, assisting with customer introductions, and handling key sales support functions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with customer introductions and account engagement under the guidance of the internal sales team.
- Follow up on quotations and liaise with clients to ensure timely feedback.
- Provide general support to field sales representatives.
- Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems.
- Coordinate internal communication between departments related to sales activities.
- Prepare and send basic customer communications or follow-up emails as needed.
- Matric (Grade 12) a completed tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Admin, or Engineering is advantageous.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
- Interest in industrial equipment or technical sales is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- A 12-month internship in the engineering and industrial sector.
