Intermediate Systems Administrator

Systems Administration:

• Assist in managing and maintaining Oracle WebLogic, Docker and Cloud servers.
• Monitor system performance (health checks etc.) and report issues to senior engineers.
• Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques.

DevOps Practices:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in automating deployment processes.
• Learn to support a variety of web and mobile applications
• Learn about containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Release Management:

• Support release planning and execution activities.
• Participate in testing and validation of software releases.

Technical Expertise:

• Develop a strong understanding of Oracle WebLogic, Containerisation technologies, and DevOps tools processes and principles.
• Learn scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Stay curious and eager to learn new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in a technical role.
• Basic understanding of system administration concepts.
• Interest in DevOps and cloud technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
