Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Lines Admin Assistant to join a dynamic team within a leading financial services company based in Centurion. This role offers the perfect environment for someone with a strong background in short-term insurance to apply their skills and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate commercial business quotations based on adviser input.
  • Ensure accurate client information (company details, registration numbers, contact information).
  • Prepare comprehensive quotation files, including application forms, comparison quotes, and required FAIS documents.
  • Activate accepted quotations with chosen product providers and ensure smooth processing.
  • Organize and send out welcome packs with necessary policy documents to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records in myPractice, including uploading all relevant documents.
  • Handle day-to-day underwriting requests and ensure updates are promptly communicated to advisers and providers.
  • Manage the renewal process, including preparing renewal packs, negotiating terms, and updating policies.
  • Work closely with the commercial underwriting team once the first debit order is confirmed.
  • Ensure all processes are followed correctly and request assistance when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience within the short-term insurance industry.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English, and at least one other official South African language.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • NQF Level 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification or currently studying towards completion.
  • FSCA confirmation (DOFA) and successful completion of the RE 5 Examination.
