Systems Administrator
A leading organization is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their dynamic IT team. If you are experienced in system maintenance, security, troubleshooting, and automation, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Main Function & Culture:As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of IT infrastructure. You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems while ensuring security and performance optimization.
Qualifications: âï¸ 3-5+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
âï¸ Bachelors Degree/Diploma in IT or a related field (advantageous).
âï¸ Certifications preferred: MSCE, A+/N+/Security+, ITIL Foundations, Linux+ (CompTIA/Red Hat).
Requirements: âï¸ Strong experience with databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management.
âï¸ Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.âï¸ Hands-on experience with Hyper-V / VMware.
âï¸ DNS Management and domain registration expertise.
âï¸ Familiarity with website hosting and CDN solutions.
âï¸ Knowledge of system security, data backup, and recovery solutions.
âï¸ Experience with Azure, Office 365, Exchange, DNS, and IBM Power administration (AIX/Red Hat) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:ð¹ System Maintenance & Troubleshooting Ensure the reliable operation of computer systems and network servers, troubleshooting issues to minimize disruptions.
ð¹ Security & Efficiency Implement security protocols, access controls, and backup procedures to safeguard IT infrastructure.
ð¹ Software & Hardware Installation Manage software updates, hardware upgrades, and virtualization processes.
ð¹ Automation & Optimization Utilize PowerShell scripting to streamline and automate system administration tasks.
ð¹ Documentation & Training Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and provide training on new technologies.
ð¹ Disaster Recovery & Failover Ensure robust data protection strategies and failover procedures are in place.
ð¹ Vendor & Stakeholder Management Maintain good relationships with IT vendors and work cross-functionally to ensure efficient IT operations.
