Purpose of the Role:
To provide a warm, professional first point of contact for visitors and clients, while efficiently handling front-desk operations and supporting administrative functions across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
- Manage the company’s reception area to ensure it is tidy, presentable, and professional at all times.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Manage appointment scheduling and meeting room bookings.
- Provide general administrative support such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Assist with onboarding of visitors and issuing of security badges or passes (if applicable).
- Handle queries or direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow office protocols.
Qualifications Required:
- Matric (Grade 12) required.
- Diploma or certificate in Office Administration or similar (advantageous).
- Training in telephone etiquette or customer service is a plus.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or administrative role.
- Experience with phone systems and office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous experience in a corporate or professional environment preferred.

- Office-based, typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
