Procurement Specialist

Forecasting and Trend Analysis:

• Monitor market trends and seasonal demands to forecast product needs accurately.
• Analyze historical sales data to predict future inventory requirements.
• Procurement Management:
• Source high-quality herbal products and supplies at competitive prices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to optimize costs.
• Inventory Control:
• Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or understocking.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and reconciliations.
• Implement systems to track stock turnover and expiration dates.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Utilize software/tools to analyze sales and stock data to inform procurement decisions.
• Generate reports on procurement performance, trends, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all procured items meet company and regulatory quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is advantageous.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in a cash-and-carry, FMCG, or retail environment.
• Proven experience in forecasting, trend analysis, and inventory management.
