We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Portfolio Manager to join a reputable underwriting manager. In this role, you will build and nurture strong relationships with brokers, identify business opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the companys brand and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop relationships with existing and new Financial Intermediaries.
• Achieve new business targets and provide advice to brokers.
• Contribute to the design and development of insurance products.
• Conduct competitor analysis and provide product comparisons.

Skills/Competencies:

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
• Attention to detail with a customer service-oriented approach.
• Strong analytical, numeric, and product knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a broker consultant or portfolio manager.
• 10+ years of experience in the short-term insurance industry.
• NQF Level 4: Short-Term Commercial Lines (60 Credits).
• Registered Representative for Commercial/Personal Lines.
• RE 5 Examination Level 1 certification.
