Our Client is Seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee and lead operations within the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of the logistics operations while driving strategic growth and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Ensure that operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Optimize resource utilization to improve operational efficiency.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, including new partnerships and business ventures.
- Analyze industry trends to anticipate challenges and implement proactive solutions.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor department heads and staff to build a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure profitability and cost control.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce operational costs.
- Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A masters degree or MBA is advantageous.
- 8+ years of experience in the logistics or supply chain industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and achieving operational excellence.
- Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CILT).
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
