Night Shift Manager

• Ensure all trip documentation is forwarded to the debriefing hub during night shifts.
• Monitor vehicle tracking systems and provide timely updates to clients, sales reps, and the day shift team.
• Manage driver handovers for late evening routes.
• Maintain up-to-date driver lists and personnel files.
• Liaise with the day shift team to book and maintain the training matrix.
• Conduct PPE inspections for night shift drivers.
• Capture NMPI (Near Miss, Property damage, Incident) reports for the afternoon/evening shift.
• Distribute Toolbox Talks and ensure documentation is signed during the evening shift.
• Perform spot checks on vehicles during the night shift.
• Assist with capturing log sheets as required.
• Ensure thorough handovers are conducted between night and day shifts.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives as directed by the team lead (Kenny).
• Be available for weekend work according to a rotating schedule.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Logistics-related experience or education is advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a logistics or transport environment.
