Senior Billing Administrator - Johannesburg

A South African holding company, within the Shared Services environment, is seeking a Senior Billing Administrator to join their team for 7 months.

As a Senior Billing Administrator, you will responsible for the following:

• Oversee customer onboarding and manage the billing administration process.
• Accurately generate and send invoices/statements to student accounts in a timely manner.
• Ensure billing accuracy, completeness, compliance, and reliability at all times.
• Manage the billing process to maintain timeliness and compliance.
• Ensure the efficient management of the revenue cycle.
• Resolve billing discrepancies through Fresh Service within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Support revenue assurance by performing reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to statutory guidelines and revenue assurance policies and processes.
• Report on customer billing performance, highlighting key concerns and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Take accountability for overall billing integrity and customer management.
• Track and monitor bursary and discount applications and their processing.
• Maintain and update billing records and client data within our database.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee accurate and timely billing.
• Assist with month-end and year-end billing closing activities.
• Prepare and analyze billing reports for management's review.
• Manage master data processes, including (but not limited to) transfer, suspension, and termination procedures.
• Oversee document administration processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred
• 3-5 years of experience
• Shared Services experience is beneficial
