This position primarily involves daily, weekly, and monthly tasks using SAGE software for financial management. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Daily Processing Tasks:
  • Importing and allocating payments to supplier accounts in SAGE, and reconciling payments against invoices.
  • Managing supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring all documentation is correct before processing.
  1. Account Management:
  • Assisting with supplier and business unit manager queries related to accounts.
  • Effective daily email management and timely responses.
  • Managing petty cash requisitions and ensuring proper documentation.
  1. Payment Processing:
  • Completing daily payment batches and reconciling supplier payments.
  • Adding new beneficiaries and managing transfers between investment accounts.
  1. Weekly and Monthly Reconciliations:
  • Conducting weekly checks on payments from COD suppliers and generating age analysis.
  • Monthly reconciliations for the FNB current account, petty cash, and credit cards, ensuring all are signed and filed correctly.
  1. General Administrative Duties:
  • Maintaining organized files for journals, bank statements, and cashbook imports.
  • Reconciling supplier statements with SAGE balances and resolving any discrepancies.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficient use of SAGE software.

Requirements:

At least 3 years experience in Creditors
Own transport and valid driver's license
SAGE Experience and general computer literacy

Fluent in English and Afrikaans
