Role Responsibilities- Java Software Development on new projects, in a microservices environment.
- Building of RESTful APIs.
- Creating Angular-based front ends
- Working in an Agile Team
- Completing Tickets on time
- Contributing to design sessions.
- Analysing the impact of proposed changes to programs and providing estimates
- Producing well-documented code that is easily maintainable and that adheres to functional and technical specifications
- Adhering to technical standards
- Assisting other developers
- Performing quality assurance checks/code reviews
- Contributing to the establishment of best practice standards
- Preparing technical specifications
- Performing unit and system testing
- Understanding various design patterns or algorithms while still following best practices from different fields
- Bachelors of Science Degree is preferred or Diploma is required.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Solid development experience in Java (additional languages a plus)
- Familiar with working in coding environments to exact deadlines
